Our Bumpers Cleaned & Detailed service takes bumper care beyond a standard clean by applying a finishing treatment appropriate to the bumper's material and condition. Once all contamination, tar spots, bug residue, and road film have been removed, the bumper surfaces are treated with a protective product to restore their finish and provide ongoing protection.
Painted bumpers receive a light coat of paint sealant or wax to protect the surface and enhance their gloss. Unpainted plastic bumpers and lower valances — common on SUVs, utes, and newer European vehicles — are treated with a UV-stabilising trim restorer to bring back their deep colour and prevent the bleaching and greying that New Zealand's UV conditions accelerate so rapidly on exposed plastic.
The result is bumpers that don't just look clean but look genuinely finished and properly presented, with the added benefit of a protective layer that slows re-contamination and helps the bumper hold its appearance between details.
