Taking exterior glass care to the next level, our Exterior Windows Cleaned & Polished service adds a polish and glass treatment step after the initial clean. Once all road film, water spots, and contamination have been removed, a specialist glass polish is applied to address light water spot etching, light hazing, and any fine surface scratches that have built up in the glass over time.
New Zealand's hard water in many regions — particularly Auckland and the Waikato — means calcium and mineral deposits from tap water left on glass can etch into the surface over time if not properly addressed. Our glass polishing process safely removes these deposits and restores the original clarity of your vehicle's glass.
After polishing, a hydrophobic glass treatment is applied to help rain bead and sheet off the windscreen and side glass, improving visibility in wet conditions and making the glass easier to keep clean between services. For a country with as much variable weather as New Zealand, this treatment is a practical improvement as much as an aesthetic one.
